I just found out that the book “The Foundations of the Stereoscopic Cinema, A Study In Depth” by Lenny Lipton is available as a PDF for free download for personal use only. This book has been out of print for years. It is a great source of information on all things related to the way we perceive 3D. For those of you who want a lot of information on plano-stereoscopic systems, their history and the science behind them, it’s a must (but very technical) read.
